KAATSU and Traditional BFR CEU Course
Taught by Dr. Cory Keirn, this on-demand, 4.5 CEU course explores the science and clinical application of KAATSU and traditional Blood Flow Restriction (BFR). You’ll learn how KAATSU’s unique intermittent “pressure on / pressure off” cycle enhances vascular elasticity, accelerates recovery, and builds strength safely—without the discomfort or risks often associated with constant-pressure BFR.
Drawing from over 15 years in orthopaedic rehab and performance training—and direct mentorship under KAATSU inventor Dr. Yoshiaki Sato—Dr. Keirn provides clear, evidence-based guidance for integrating these techniques into practice. The result is a deeper understanding of how gentle, rhythmic pressure can unlock powerful physiological responses that restore movement, improve resilience, and expand what’s possible in modern rehabilitation.
This course is approved for CEUs in Florida by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice; additional states will follow shortly—for other states, contact Dr. Cory at cory.keirn@kaatsu.com.
